Provider Training

NVL Solutions provides structured technical education for medical providers who want a stronger foundation in the interpretation of carotid duplex and transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies. Training emphasizes cerebrovascular hemodynamics, waveform analysis, standardized interpretation criteria, and common interpretation pitfalls – so providers can read studies with greater confidence and consistency.

NVL training is designed to complement formal physician education by strengthening foundational knowledge in ultrasound physics, cerebrovascular hemodynamics, and standardized interpretation criteria. This technical focus supports accurate, consistent interpretation across clinical environments while reinforcing collaboration between providers and performing technologists.

Formal physician training programs, such as the neurovascular ultrasound program at Virginia Commonwealth University, led by Dr. Arti Sarwal, who previously led the Wake Forest University neurosonography program – represent the academic pathway this technical education is intended to support.
